Leak

Game info -

Leak is a single-player procedurally generated dungeon crawler where you play as a white globule that explores the human body and it's possible infections and fights them off. This project was made during the ENJAM 2021, and in-house jam for the ENJMIN school. We hope you have a fun time playing it, it was created during a span of two days in a healthy environnement in France by the following team:

(note that everyone was involved in every part of the developpement, and that these titles do not represent the whole of the work put in by all these wonderful people, we all dev'd, we all designed and we all made this happen (ps: we can't draw for shit, so Laurine did all this by herself, we're very honored to have had her work with us for this occasion)

The Goal of the game is to complete the 3 levels of the game (1 for now, others will come later).

Controls -

ZQSD -> movement

Left Click (hold) -> Charge up spear

Right Click (tap) -> Teleport to puddle

Story -

Si il était une fois la vie nous a bien appris une chose, c'est que notre corps est en constant combat contre les forces extérieures et intérieures qui cherchent a détruire notre corps. C'est le rôle des Leucocyte de nous protéger des infections, et le votre d'aider ce corps qui pourrait bien être en proie aux divers dangers qui le comblent! A travers des niveaux colorés et ésotérique, vous devrez vous frayer un chemin en combattant des virus et autres infections qui pullulent grâce a votre fidèle "Phagocytose", une lance composée de votre propre matière! Attention à ne pas trop utiliser de votre puissance, car chaque instant votre flamme fragile pourrait s'éteindre si facilement, vous devrez jongler entre reconstitution et déplétion de votre substance, vous divisant en deux, laissant derrière vous des monticules de votre propre énergie vitale. Tout pour le bien du corps! Peut être qu'un mal plus grand se rôde dans les profondeurs du corps, peut être est-il déjà trop tard, a vous de le découvrir, vous êtes le dernier rempart!

If "once uppon a time: life" has taught us one thing, it is that our body is in constant combat against the external and internal forces which seek to destroy our body. It is the role of the Leukocyte to protect us from infections, and yours to help this body which could well be in the grip of the various dangers that overwhelm it! Through colorful and esoteric levels, you will have to fight your way fighting viruses and other infections that abound thanks to your faithful "Phagocytosis", a spear made of your own material! Be careful not to use too much of your power, because every moment your fragile flame could be extinguished so easily, you will have to juggle between replenishing and depleting your substance, dividing yourself in half, leaving behind mounds of your own life energy. Everything for the good of the body! Maybe a greater evil is lurking in the depths of the body, maybe it is already too late, it's up to you to find out, you are the last bulwark!
